First Encounter - Installation
Your first encounter with DCP is likely to be when a staff member (doctor or nurse) requests installation of DCP.
DCP can be installed on any computer where Best Practice or Medical director is installed.
Installation does not require administrator priveleges.
DCP will not display patient data unless the user is logged in to clinical software with a patient opened in clinical software.
For Best Practice setups it requires configuration of the Settings within Best Practice Clinical Software. See the instructions here for BP Configuration [[bp-premier-required-configuration]].
Next Encounter
You may be asked to purchase subscription on behalf of DCP users within the practice.
DCP is subsciption software,licenced per user(with provider number) per year. Non Providers do not require subscription.
To access the subscriptions for DCP you can install the DCP on your workstation and access the subscriptions within DCP running on your workstation. Alternatively you can access the subscriptions within DCP running on a users workstation.
Go to the settings within DCP and click the licencing tab. Follow the instructions available subscription purchase or subscription-management

You can chart billings by GP and item number and much more.
